This refers to dollars per month.  Please keep this number in mind. We challenge you to consider the benefits of joining, maintaining or renewing membership in CSWS◆DE --- and by extension, the Clinical Social Work Federation.

Following, you will find highlights of benefits available to you individually and to the profession that stem from your support and participation in this two for one professional affiliation.

$97: The portion of the $130 annual dues that funds your CSWS-DE Membership provides:

Our Psychotherapy Referral Service which offers a much needed resource for the community and promotes our profession to the public 

Free Clinical Sharings for continuing education credit with a $100 honorarium paid to the presenter who is usually a member

Significantly reduced admission rate to our major conferences.

CSWS◆DE Update published several times per year and timely e-mail communication about local, state, and national news related to our profession

 www.cswsdelaware.org which is our own web site that offers important information regarding conferences, links to major areas of interest, and a low cost manner to both advertise for and find professional opportunities including job listings, conferences and offices for rent

$33:  The portion of the annual dues that funds your Clinical Social Work Federation membership provides:

Ongoing professional lobbying and representation on Capitol Hill

Professional representation before federal regulatory agencies (i.e. Department of Health and Human Services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, CMS (formally HCFA)

CSWF web site (www.cswf.org) with vital links and updated information

Coordination of malpractice insurance

Publication of the national CSWF ACCESS

Twice yearly Board Meetings that includes a CSWS-DE representative who is a voting Board Member influencing the direction of the Federation and the future of our profession

Whether or not you choose to participate you will benefit from the work of these professional organizations in many of the political and practice accomplishments that impact your work and the lives of your clients.

The sad truth is that membership in professional organizations is way down across the country. You need representation. And, we need your support to continue…both financial and active participation. Over the last few years some societies have completely disbanded due to lack of leadership and membership. The Federation is addressing this by beginning a process of more centralized administration with the new Executive Director at the helm. The CSWS-DE Board prefers preserving the local benefits of having a state society for the reasons cited above.
